New Year’s Eve Project!<\/strong><\/span>
Cracked Heartbeat” trisects @DaBY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n


As of January 2022, following October 2021, DaBY is currently working with resident choreographer Shintaro Hirahara (OrganWorks leader) on the creation of a new work, “The Heartbeat of Cracks \/ hidden world code”.
The piece premiered at KAAT Kanagawa Arts Theatre last December, and will be performed at Aichi Arts Theatre from February 4 \u322e to February 6 \u3230<\/a>.
This time, some scenes excerpted from “Cracks in the Heartbeat” will be performed, and guest choreographer\/dancer Nakamura Megumi and DaBY artistic director\/Executive Producer Karatsu Eri will join us to delve deeper into the work with the keywords of consciousness and unconsciousness, and actor and choros. The performance will delve deeply into the work with the keywords of consciousness and unconsciousness, actors and choros.<\/p>\n

This is a special DaBY edition of “Torisetsu,” a lecture series that has been held by OrganWorks for many years.<\/p>\n

As DaBY’s first New Year’s gift for the year 2022, we will be accepting applications from a limited number of 20 DaBY Members\/OrganWorks Official Supporters Club Orquesta members at no charge. We look forward to your participation.

was born in 1981 in Hokkaido, Japan.
After a career in classical ballet and HipHop, he became an expert in contemporary dance, working as a dancer, choreographer, stage composer, and dance instructor.
He also presides over the dance company [OrganWorks] and engages in creative activities.
In Japan, he has choreographed for Gekidan Ikiume, Kentaro Kobayashi, Kensaku Kobayashi, Akira Shirai, Keishi Nagatsuka, Ken Kamikita, and others, and as a dancer, he has collaborated with artists in other fields, including Shintaro Oue, Mirai Moriyama, and others, and with Condors, Chiharu Shiota, and Midori Harima, among others. In addition, he has collaborated with artists in China, Korea, Spain, and Scotland, and has choreographed for them.
He was featured in the magazine “BRUTUS” in a feature article titled “Tsugi no Hito: A Catalogue of People Who Will Change Tomorrow. \uff5e The magazine “BRUTUS” selected him in the performing arts category in its feature article “Tsugi no Hito: A Catalogue of People Who Will Change Tomorrow.
In 2013, he studied in Spain for 9 months under the overseas training program for up-and-coming artists by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
In 2015, he received the Otaru City Cultural Encouragement Award.
Winner of the Next Generation Choreographer Award and Audience Award at the Toyota Choreography Awards in 2016.

After winning a prize at the Prix de Lausanne, Okochi<\/span> moved to Europe. After winning the Prix de Lausanne, she moved to Europe and joined the Netherlands Dance Theater led by Ili Kylian, where she was involved in the creation of works by world-leading choreographers. In 2007, he moved to Japan to pursue his career as a choreographer, working with Noism, K Ballet, the New National Ballet Company, and others. He has received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Art Encouragement Prize, the Medal with Purple Ribbon, and others.<\/p>\n

Executive Producer, Aichi Arts Theatre.
Graduated from the Department of Dance Education, Faculty of Letters and Education, Ochanomizu University, and the Graduate School of Humanities and Sciences of the same university. After working on the stage, he joined Aichi Arts Center in 1993 as Japan’s first dance curator, and in 2000 won the 1st Asahi Arts Award at his Aichi Prefectural Cultural Information Center. He has produced and invited more than 200 works and projects ranging from large-scale international co-productions to experimental performances. He has served as a member of the Cultural Policy Subcommittee of the Cultural Affairs Council of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, coordinator of the National Association of Public Cultural Facilities, jury member and board member of corporate arts and culture foundations, and various other committees, as well as a judge for dance competitions, chairman of the executive committee for the 65th Annual Conference of the Japan Society of Dance Performance, and part-time university lecturer. He has been involved in various activities to improve the environment of performing arts and theaters in Japan, including lectures, writing, and advising.
