Choreographer Dimo Milev, based in the Netherlands, the home of contemporary dance, and dancer Aya Misaki, also based in the Netherlands, together with dancers who participated in a three-day creation workshop at DaBY A double bill showing will be held.
After the performance, there will be an after-talk with questions from the audience.
This will be a rare opportunity to not only see dance works but also hear about the creative process. We invite all dance lovers as well as those who are interested in the creation and choreography of the works to come to the venue!

This work focuses on detailed body movements and pauses, which can only be experienced in studio showings where the performers and audience are in close proximity, rather than on a large stage.

Dimo Mirev’s work by dancers who participated in the Creation Workshop
This work is based on improvisation and emphasizes the use of “creativity of individual dancers,” which is the most important element in the contemporary dance world in Europe today. This is a showing where you can see dancers playing with their bodies as if they were playing a game, while also enjoying the beauty of their creation.

Born in Bulgaria. After graduating from the National Ballet School of Sofia, she joined the Ballet of the National Opera of Sofia in 1993, and in 1994 joined the Ballet de Jeune in France, where she has been a soloist with the Ballet National de Nancy-Lorraine since 1996, performing such classics as “Giselle,” “Swan Lake,” “La Sylphide,” “Theme and Variations,” and “The Prodigal Son,” as well as contemporary works by renowned choreographers such as Ili Kylian, Jean-François, and Hans van Maanen. In 1996, she joined the Ballet National de Nancy-Lorraine as a soloist in classical works such as “Giselle,” “Swan Lake,” “La Sylphide,” “Theme and Variations,” and “The Prodigal Son,” as well as contemporary works by renowned choreographers such as Ily Kylian, Jean Francois and Hans Van Maanen.
In 2001, she joined the Spanish National Dance Company under the artistic direction of Nacho Duato. After being promoted to Principal, she has performed many leading roles in Duato’s productions. At the same time, she has worked with choreographers such as Ily Kylian, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Wim Vandekeybus, Orián Andersson, Jacopo Godani, and Gustavo Ramírez, and has performed in works by William Forsythe.
In 2009, she became an independent freelance dancer/choreographer. 2011, she choreographed “1/2Waltz” in collaboration with Gentian Doda, which won first prize at the Copenhagen International Choreographic competition in Denmark and the Hanover international choreographic competition in Germany. In 2013, he performed with Tamako Akiyama in “The New World of Manuel Legris III” in Vienna, Paris, and Tokyo. She has been invited to Vienna, Paris and Tokyo. She has also taught repertory and contemporary classes for trainees at the New National Theatre in Tokyo.
In 2014, he won the second prize at the Copenhagen International Choreographic competition for choreographers in Denmark, and was honored to choreograph for the Royal Danish Ballet Company. From 2014 to 2016, she has been teaching contemporary and amp;repertory classes at the Sapporo Art Park Ballet Seminar. She has taught contemporary and amp;repertory classes at the Sapporo Art Forest Ballet Seminar from 2014 to 2016.
In 2016, he presented a new work with the Spanish National Dance Company; in 2018-2020, he was rehearsal director of the Netherlands Dance Theatre (NDT2), where he also choreographed two works; in 2020, he presented a new work with the Bolshoi Ballet Company; in 2021-2022, he presented new works in St. Gallen, Switzerland; and in 2022, he presented a new work with Landerer and company in Germany. In 2021-2022, he will present new works in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and Landerer and company, Germany.
He is currently a freelance choreographer and instructor, collaborating with various artists from around the world.

Born in Osaka in 1992, she started classical ballet at the age of 4 under Wakui Mieko at Wakui Ballet School, and modern dance at the age of 10 under Imaoka Shoko and Kato Kiyoko. 2009 Entered Takarazuka Kita High School in Hyogo Prefecture
Theatre Department, graduated in 2012, and entered Kobe College, Faculty of Music, Department of Music, Dance Major the same year. Entered Kobe College, Faculty of Music, Department of Music, Dance Major in the same year. Studied under Toru Shimazaki.
After graduating from college in 2015, she joined NDT2 (Netherlands Dance Theater
2). She has danced works by 15 choreographers, including director Paul Lightfoot, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, and others, and toured 25 countries in 3 years.
She left the company in 2018 and started working as a freelancer based in the Netherlands, mainly in Europe. While continuing her activities as a dancer, including touring and being involved in the creation of new works as a dancer, she also began working as an assistant to young choreographers such as Edward Krug and Ily Pokorny. He also focuses on training dancers in Japan, organizing workshops in Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo, and other cities.
