Sawako Iseki
Born in 1978 in Kochi Prefecture, Japan, she studied classical ballet under Sakiko Ichinomiya from the age of three.
After studying at the National Ballet School of Zurich, Switzerland, she studied under Maurice Béjart and others at Rudra Béjart Lausanne.
In ’98, she joined Netherlands Dance Theater II (Holland), and in ’00, she joined Kullberg Ballet (Sweden).
In April 2004, he became a founding member of Noism, and has always played a major role in Jo Kanamori’s works. He is currently one of Japan’s leading dancers and is highly acclaimed and attracting attention from various fields.
She has also served as Ballet Mistress since ’08 and Assistant Artistic Director of Noism since ’10. She received the 38th Nimura Dance Award.
