In 1979, he entered Maurice Béjart's Moudra (Brussels). At the same school, he met Anne Teresa de Case-Michael and together they formed Rosas in 1983. Since then, he has been involved in the creation of and performed in almost all of their films until 2008. He has also participated in many of Rosas' films and videos, expanding his activities beyond genres.
Since 2007, he has also created his own works. Since 2007, he has also created his own works: "Nine Fingers" with Alan Platel and Benjamin Voldonk, "in pieces" with British director Tim Etchells, and "Life & Times Episode 2" with the New York theater group Nature Theater of Oklahoma. In 2013, he presented "amness" with Unt Yamada; in 2015, he presented "Absence," a theatrical video piece; in January 2016, he presented "Cross Grip"; in February 2016, he presented a piece based on Junichiro Tanizaki's "The Key"; in January 2017, he presented Morton Feldman's "Piano and String Quartet" with ICTUS. He currently serves as rehearsal director for all of Rosas' early works, teaches Rosas' repertoire at P.A.R.T.S., presents his own choreographic works, and performs and choreographs in theater productions.
