Born in Osaka in 1987 and raised in Ehime.
After working in long-distance track and field and chorus, she moved to Tokyo with an interest in musicals, and began dancing at the age of 20.
She has performed in choreographic works by Ryohei Kondo, Young-Doo Chung, Miwa Okuno, and others, and has participated in the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial, Water and Land Art Festival, ICHIHARA ART X MIX, and others as a dancer of the butoh company Tonde Sora Seizo. She also began creating her own compositions almost as soon as she started dancing.
After an injury while studying at SEAD, an Austrian dance school (2014), she began researching body structure and movement methods.
Based in Norway since 2018, she continues to question the relationship between self and body and between body and environment.
She holds a Master of Philosophy from Yokohama National University, Y-GSC (Master of Philosophy).
