This performance is the first in a series of dance performances to be held in collaboration with Dance Base Yokohama (DaBY/DaBY), a dance house established in Yokohama in 2020, and Aichi Arts Center. This series aims to perform works created at DaBY at the Aichi Arts Theatre, and then to re-stage them in Japan and abroad. In addition, “Proxy” is a new work from Aichi, Japan, created in collaboration with dance house Kogane 4422 (Nagoya) and performed by dancers selected by audition from the Tokai area and Ryu Suzuki.
