Training class for professional dancers based in Japan. In “Master Class” vol. 1, under the theme of “Approach to Improvisation”, guest lecturer Kana Otte will teach “Gaga/dancer Ohad Naharin’s dance method”. The purpose of this workshop is to reexamine the originality of one’s own movement and imagination based on the experience each of us has cultivated, and to find interest in the improvisational body without narrowing one’s vision by sharing it with others.

□Instructor Profile
Kana Ote Kana Ote
Gaga/dancer Ohad Naharin’s dance method.
Studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, France from 1996 to 1999, where she received a diploma in ballet. 2001, joined the Ballet de Jeune International Rosella Hightower (France). After leaving Ballet de Jeunesse, she joined contemporary dance companies such as Ballet Bern (Switzerland) and Carte Blanche (Norway). In 2010, she received an overseas training grant from the Pola Art Foundation to study at the Bat Sheva Dance Company in Israel, and in 2011, she became the first Japanese to participate in the Gaga Instructor Training Program, where she received instructor certification. She was the first Japanese to participate in the Gaga Instructor Training Program in 2011, where she obtained instructor certification.
