Executive Director of The Saison Foundation. Involved in planning and producing dance and theater productions at the alternative space "Studio 200" in the 1980s and 1990s. Since 1992, he has been a member of The Saison Foundation, a private grant-making foundation that supports artists in the fields of contemporary theater and dance. In addition to building grant programs, he was in charge of setting up Morishita Studio, a rehearsal space in Morishita, Koto-ku, Tokyo. In addition to supporting creative activities by providing funding and space, he also focuses on improving the creative environment and promoting international exchange. He continues to consider what is needed for dance to intersect with society and open up new horizons, and is keenly interested in the activities of DaBY, which has accumulated a variety of practices in collaboration with the community. He lives and works in Yokohama. He is a board member of the Yokohama Arts Foundation, a member of the Saitama Arts Foundation, and a member of the Kanagawa Prefecture Council for Cultural Affairs.
