BALA is a contemporary dance unit.
The six-member team consists ofJunpei Hamada, Takkun Ikegami, Saei Onishi, Reimi Murai, Chinatsu Horikawa, and Jun Aoyagi.
The team was formed in December 2021 to create and dance their own works while belonging to OrganWorks, a dance company led by Shintaro Hirahara. The members have a wide variety of dance techniques and express themselves in a rich variety of ways, connecting our age and society in which we live today.
The group also aims to improve the techniques of contemporary dance through the pursuit of physical expression, and to pass on the art of expression to the younger generation.
