Artistic Director, Aichi Arts Theatre, Aichi, Japan. Graduated from the Department of Dance Education, Faculty of Letters and Education, Ochanomizu University, and the Graduate School of Humanities and Sciences of the same university. After working on stage, she worked at Aichi Arts Center as Japan's first dance curator since 1993, and won the 1st Asahi Beer Arts Award in 2003 at her organization, Aichi Culture and Information Center. 2010~16: Curator (Performing Arts) of Aichi Triennale. Since establishing DaBY, he has been actively involved in the development of the overall environment for dance and performing arts activities, protection of the rights of artists, dancers, and staff, and measures to expand audiences and markets. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sega Sammy Foundation for Culture and the Arts. He is a board member of the Sega Sammy Foundation for Arts and Culture. His publications include "Bodily Intelligence. He received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Art Encouragement Prize in 2022 (73rd).
