The dance team nouses consists of Akira Yamamoto and Watry from Kyoto.
He started his career in 2007 based on HIP HOP culture. He has been producing sound sources using field recording techniques derived from musique-concrète, a type of contemporary music, and has established his own genre of music that he positions as a "concrète" from there.
He has been recognized both domestically and internationally for his unparalleled fusion of street dance and contemporary art, and despite his unique genre, he has participated twice as a finalist in the world's most prestigious street dance contest JAPAN DANCE DELIGHT. In 2017, he participated in the HIPHOP festival Groove'N'Move Festival in Switzerland, and in 2018, he was invited to be a back-up dancer for singer-songwriter MISIA.
He is highly supported not only by street dancers but also by contemporary dancers, and has worked with Shintaro Oue, Tomohiko Tsujimoto, Hiroaki Umeda, Shintaro Hirahara, Mirai Moriyama, and others (titles omitted) who are leading contemporary dancers in Japan. Recently, he received the Architants Artist Support Award at the YOKOHAMA DANCE COLLECTION 2021.
