Began ballet studies at the Riko Nomura Ballet School; won the Scholarship Prize/TV Audience Award at the Prix de Lausanne 1996; studied at the John Cranko Ballet School in Stuttgart from 1996-98; joined the Stuttgart Ballet in 1998 as a research student; joined the Vienna State Opera Ballet in 2000; won first prize at the Luxembourg International Ballet Competition in 2001; promoted to soloist in 2002; transferred to the Berlin State Ballet in August 2007. Joined the Vienna State Opera Ballet in 2000; won first prize at the Luxembourg International Ballet Competition in 2001; promoted to soloist in 2002; transferred to the Berlin State Ballet in August 2006; promoted to principal in 2007; transferred to the Hungarian State Ballet as principal in November 2001; joined the K Ballet Company in September 2003. She won the 39th Akiko Tachibana Award for Excellence in 2006 and the 34th Chieko Hattori Award in 2008, and became an honorary principal of K Ballet Company in 2008. She is currently active as a freelance dancer.
