2024 DaBY Artist in Residence

Helsinki-based artist and choreographer, graduated from Stockholm University of the Arts in 2017. She is interested in themes of identity, gender, perspective, and pop culture, which she explores in her work through visual transformation, music, and movement. In her work, YouTube tutorials and physical expression go hand in hand to create a lucid aesthetic.

Kasurinen's work has been presented at the Helsinki Festival, Zodiak - Centre for New Dance, New Performance Turku Biennale, Gátt Festival in Copenhagen, Reykjavik Art Festival (Gátt Hub 2022) and Kuopio City Theatre/Dance Theatre Minimi. Outside of his own projects, he works as a dancer and performer and collaborates with other artists.
