DaBY dancers in residence have participated in weekly classes/contextual studies (lectures) through the dancer registration system, in addition to performing in creative works by DaBY artists.
As a culmination of their year-long activities, the 10 dancers will present their creative works and give presentations.

In recent years, I have been creating works that aim to question the emergence of dance by focusing on the “relationship between dance and music,” and as a presentation of the results of this experiment, the work ” The work “PreDanceMusic” is scheduled to be performed in Yokohama from April 21 to 23 as a presentation of the results of this experiment. The body unconditionally affirms what appears. If we simplify what appears in front of us in the most complex way possible, and if we still feel a sense of discomfort or unacceptability leaking out, we can call it a kind of reality.

We met through the MOSA/Lunar Landing Project, a project to nurture young dancers, and through showings and solo performances, we have enjoyed the “individuality” of the three of us in the way we each dance and create dance.
This piece is a session with those three moon-landing members.
The big question in the back of my mind is “What is dance for me?
We will spend time and dance together without any theme or purpose.
