The Leopard” deals with human greed, the destruction of the planet, excess, power and control, and is part of Natural Behaviour, a new body of work that relates topics such as ecology, climate change, and the meaning of the natural and unnatural to queer identities. The protagonist of this work is a predator standing at the topmost level, an embodiment of a creature that is both a magnificent big cat and a corrupt leader, living somewhere between a social gathering place for the super-rich and the depths of a forest that is burning and disappearing. I hope participants will explore the darkest and most beautiful aspects of classical music and the portrayal of character in dance in this highly emotionally and physically challenging piece.”

Punk and political, Rebellion is a group piece that deals with the British culture, political system and monarchy, which we both critique and respect, with bright and powerful songs by the band Gag Salon, and a very different way of moving and performing than in La Valse!
