In the DaBY opening commemorative event, TRIAD DANCE PROJECT “Dance Genealogy”, a solo from “BLACK BIRD” choreographed by Ily Kylian was scheduled to be performed by Benei Nakamura. Born in Yokohama, Japan, she won the Professional Prize at the Prix de Lausanne in 1988, and after working with the Ballet de Monte Carlo, she joined the Netherlands Dance Theater led by Ily Kylian, After moving to Japan in 2007, he has continued to work as a dancer and choreographer for the New National Ballet Theatre, K Ballet Company, and the Paris Opera Etoile, among others. He has been actively engaged in creative activities with Yasuyuki Suto and has performed many works including “Shakespeare THE SONNETS” (New National Theatre, Tokyo). He also serves as a coach for Kilian’s works and teaches ballet companies and schools around the world, including the Paris Opera House. He has received numerous awards, including the 61st Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Art Encouragement Prize, the 67th Kanagawa Culture Award, and the Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2006.
