Support for Artists in Response to the New Coronavirus – DaBY Free of Charge
In order to support dance artists who are unable to continue their traditional activities due to the effects of the new coronavirus, Dance Base Yokohama will offer free of charge a studio in DaBY for a certain period between June 30 (Tue) and August 1 (Sat), as follows
Details of the public call for proposals
Free of charge: 5 days from Tuesday to Saturday between 6/30 (Tue.) and 8/1 (Sat.)
*Two consecutive weeks are possible, depending on the purpose of use and the overall number of applications.
Hours: 8 hours from 10:00 to 18:00 as a basic schedule
However, the service on 7/15 (Wed.), 7/29 (Wed.) and 8/1 (Sat.) will be available from 2:00 p.m.
Uses available:
Dance rehearsal
Creations (including re-creations of works that could not be completed due to the spread of the new coronavirus)
self-supporting classes
Video recording for online presentation
Other studio use that does not involve attracting customers
Target: People who are professionally involved in dance activities.
How to apply: Fill out the questionnaire format provided by DaBY.

*In the event that there are too many applicants, we will notify you of the results of the application process.
We may post photos of your stay at DaBY on the DaBY website and social networking sites.
