Alexis Kam

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Macau, Alexis Kam began dancing at age 4, studying ballet at the Macau Conservatory Dance School and then at Beijing Dance/LDTX in 2014. She joined Beijing Dance/LDTX in 2014. Currently a freelance artist, founder of AWPlanet and founder of MonkeyKam Art Channel, she has performed at Warsaw 24th Lodz Ballet Festival, Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theatre, Städtische Guest choreographer for 2017 Macau CDE Springboard, 2023 Hong Kong Dynamic Dance Dialogue Dance Guest choreographer for the 2017 Macau CDE Springboard, 2023 Hong Kong Dynamic Dance Dialogue Dance Showcase, selected for the 2020 Tokyo Performing Arts Festival APAF-Asia Performing Arts Talent Development, produced and performed the entire Dance Duo program at the 31st Macao Arts Festival, 3rd Prize at the 22nd China Shanghai International Arts Festival Performing Arts Fair, and was a guest choreographer at the 2023 Hong Kong Dynamic Dance Dialogue Dance Showcase. Dynamic Wang

2024 DaBY Resident Artist in Residence
Wang's multidisciplinary creative practice crosses multiple media and art forms, including dance, theater, music, and film. He is the graphic designer for the Beijing Dance Festival, Les Années Chine-France, and Dance Forum China-Japan, co-curator of the Sino-German Jazz Improvise Meeting Festival, and visual design director for the LeEco group Le In 2014, he founded AWP Experimental Arts Studio; in 2016, he participated in Horse Dance Theater in Taiwan and was a guest choreographer for BeijingDance/LDTX; in 2020, he will be a guest choreographer for KuaiShou. In 2009, he joined KuaiShou as a brand design expert. In the same year, he won the Unsplash Award Photographer of the Year and joined ByteDance in 2022.
