Born in Bulgaria. Trained at the National Ballet School of Sofia, she joined the National Opera of Sofia in 1993 and a year later the Ballet de Jeune in France, and since 1996 has been a soloist with the Ballet National de Nancy-Lorraine, performing in productions of Giselle, Swan Lake, La Sylphide, Theme and Variations, and The Prodigal The Prodigal Son, and other works by choreographers such as Kilian, Jorma Uotinen, and Jean-François. During this period, she studied with Deleur, Abou Lagraa, Hans van Manen, and others.
In 2001, she joined Compañía Nacional de Danza under the direction of Nacho Duato and was immediately promoted to principal dancer. She has participated in most of Duato's productions and has also played leading roles in many of his repertoire. He has also worked with choreographers such as Mats Ek, Wim Vandekeybus, Orjan Andersson, Jacopo Godani, and Gustavo Ramirez, and has appeared in works by Ily Kylian, William Forsythe, and Ohad Naharin.
In 2011, he choreographed "S.O.S." and "1/2 Waltz" with Gentian Doda, which won first prize in the Copenhagen and Hanover choreography competitions; in 2014, "Aimless" won first prize at the Burgos New York International Choreography Competition. He was also invited to Vienna, Paris and Tokyo with Tamako Akiyama to perform "The New World of Manuel Legris" by Manuel Legris.
Since 2009, he has worked as an independent project, creating original works for T.H.E company (Singapore), Compañia Nacional de Danza (Spain), NDT2, St Gallen Theater, Landerer and company, etc. He is also the rehearsal director of NDT2 from 2018 to 2020.
