While using conceptual techniques, DaBY incorporates elements of pop/street culture to create highly contemporaneous performances that appeal to people other than art fans.
His style is characterized by a consistent aesthetic sense and visuals in all the elements that make up his works, as well as a multifaceted analysis and presentation of new assumptions about the themes of his works by deconstructing various contexts and reconstructing them as if they were a collage.
He won the Grand Prix in the PLAY category at SICF20 (2019) for "Tokyo Mystery Circle Club Band" and the Best New Choreographer Award at Yokohama Dance Collection 2020 for "Cyclone Chronicle" at
. At Yokohama Dance Collection 2021, performed "Devil Dance," a piece about human loneliness and mortality in the Corona Disaster, inspired by Faust and Dance Macabre.
