Kota Yamazaki, who presented “Dance Teleportation” at the DaBY opening celebration event and will participate in this tryout, choreographed this piece for the New Zealand dance company Footnote New Zealand Dance, a New Zealand dance company choreographed by Kota Yamazaki, who will participate in the tryouts. ◆Kota Yamazaki Statement
Fog, Nerves, Future, Ocean, Halo (Fog, Nerves, Future, Ocean, Halo) explores the innately unstable, multilayered, and skitzophrenic nature of humans, representing humans and the universe in their nervous, subtle, and unpredictable behavior. Inspired by the landscape of Wellington, the work was created in pursuit of the spoken word, which hovers like a water bubble, disturbed, forgotten, repeated, and silenced. Through the ever-changing circumstances and performers, I want to expose a new side of Wellington.
