The creative process of contemporary dance will be open to the public. Contemporary dance is diversifying into various forms. What you could not understand just by going to see a performance, you may be able to interpret from a new angle when you watch it based on the creative process.
We hope you will experience the choreographer’s real voice and creation with the dancers.

◆Profile of Shintaro Hirahara
Born 1981 in Hokkaido, Japan. Dancer, choreographer, and organizer of OrganWorks, and DaBY artist in residence.
Belonged to “Noism” from 2004 to 2007. Became freelance after leaving the company. In addition to his own activities and company activities such as “C/Ompany” with Shintaro Oue and others, he has participated in “Condors” led by Ryohei Kondo, created works with Carmen
Werner, and is widely involved in dance works both in Japan and abroad.
He has also participated in the choreography and staging of works by Tomohiro Maekawa’s Ikiume, Kentaro Kobayashi, Kensaku Kobayashi, and Akira Shirai, and has collaborated with Chiharu Shiota and Midori Harima, among others, and is actively involved in exchange with artists from other fields, including theater and contemporary art.
In a special feature in the magazine “BRUTUS”, he was selected in the performing arts category in the “Tsugi no Hito. ~ The magazine “BRUTUS” selected him in the performing arts category for their feature article, “Tsugi no Hito: A Catalogue of People Who Will Change Tomorrow.
