Born in Tokyo, Japan. At the age of 16, she moved to Europe to study dance, theater, voice, and kendo at the first class of "Rudra" led by Maurice Béjart. After working with companies in Italy and Germany, she spent 12 years as a soloist with the Bat Sheva Dance Company in Israel, where she performed in many works by Ohad Naharin, as well as works by William Forsythe, Sharon Eyal, Kota Yamazaki, and other choreographers from around the world. Currently, she also choreographs her own works.
