After four days of classes and creations, on the fifth and final day, Sunday the 19th, there will be a short showing to present the works created in the creations. In addition to the works of the workshop participants, Mami Shimazaki and Mariko Kakizaki will demonstrate their creations at the showing.
This is a rare opportunity to learn firsthand in Japan the techniques and expressive skills that have been cultivated through overseas experience. We look forward to your participation.
[Instructor’s Comments]
The workshop aims to lead to new discoveries with an emphasis on Israel’s unique movement techniques that release us from the ground, and on research that conveys the feel and texture of everyday images and words through movement. (Asami Shimazaki)
