◆Outline of work
Performative installations that evoke memories
Based on the theme of “recording” the “memory” that has been the basis of my creative work to date, I approach the sensation of “flavor” that appears when I visit a certain place. to approach the sensation of “taste” that appears when visiting a certain place. This is an attempt to approach the sensation of “flavor” that appears when you visit a certain place.
Each artist will bring to the theater a “place” that they have observed and collected. The artists will bring to the theater “places” that they have observed and collected, and using the sensations and imagination brought about by the space as clues, they will attempt to reconstruct places that have never coexisted before.
By inviting the audience into the creation space By inviting the audience into the place of creation, we will derive a form of “performative installation” in which people and the environment come and go.

Yasuhiro Morinaga
Yasuhiro Morinaga
Sound Artist From an artistic and musical anthropological perspective, he has conducted fieldwork in various parts of the world, presenting sound sources and works based on field recordings of the primary sources of musical instruments and songs, ritual and ceremonial soundscapes, and environmental sounds of cities and settlements. His musical installations, which envelop the body, encourage an awareness of sounds to which we do not usually pay attention. Recent works include “POLLINATORS,” a 3D immersive audiovisual installation dealing with the exorcism rituals of shamans in northern Vietnam, and “Satan Java,” a 3D sound installation of the sound and music of a silent film by Indonesian film master Garin Nugroho. He has worked with Japanese artists such as Sion Sono, Keiichi Tanaami, and Naoki Ishikawa, as well as with Asian artists such as Ho Tzu Nyen (Singapore), Garin Nugroho (Indonesia), Teater Garasi (Indonesia), and Camila Andini (Indonesia).
