DaBY Artist in Residence
Artist, choreographer, dancer, born 1988 in Tokyo. Based on choreographic acts for self and others, she creates staged works that interweave reality and fiction, using diverse media such as light, sound, space, and text. Recently, he has been developing movement research focusing on the power relationship between society and the body. 2015 MFA in Design from Tokyo University of the Arts, 2018 MA in Solo Performance from Berlin University of the Arts, 2020 9th El Sur Foundation Newcomer Award in Contemporary Dance, 2020 Dance Residence artist at Dance Base Yokohama from 2020, and part-time lecturer at Musashino Art University's Department of Film and New Media from 2021.
