Following last year’s ProLab Master Class, Mariko Kakizaki will hold a “Sharone Eyal” repertory class. This year, as part of the DaBY ProLab for Dancers “Dancer Development Program” first semester program, participants will study works by overseas choreographers while stimulating each other with the DaBY resident dancers participating in the program.
About Master Class
Guest lecturers are invited to learn about various styles and methods connected to contemporary dance, providing an opportunity to think about one’s own dance from different perspectives.

Mariko Kakizaki (Dancer/Choreographer)

He is a member of L-E-V Sharon Eyal|Gai Behar. In addition to performing, she teaches workshops around the world. Former rhythmic gymnast. Formerly a dancer with Batsheva ensemble Dance Company (2012-2014), she won the Gold Prize as a dancer at the 2011 Korea International Dance Competition (KIMDC), the 2013 Kagawa Prefecture New Artist Award, and the 2014 Israel Jerusalem She won the Israel Jerusalem Dance Week Competition in 2014. In addition to performing at the Paris Collection as a dancer (Dior 2019ss), she also expresses herself in a variety of media, including photography, video modeling, and writing. 2019 and 2020, she received the Japan Dance Forum Award.
