Following the ProLab Master Class in August and September, we will hold a repertory class with two guest instructors. Each artist will study a work by an overseas choreographer who has frequently participated in their creations.

Nagama Yuasa
(Dancer, Choreographer)
After 11 years with NDT, a Dutch dance company leading contemporary dance in Europe, Nagama became a freelance dancer and guest performer in Mats Ek’s version of Juliet&Romeo as Juliet, Sasha Waltz’s Körper, and others. She is also a member of EASTMAN led by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and has appeared in numerous dance, opera, and theater productions, including the Kronos Quartet, contemporary artist/pianist Tomoko Mukaiyama, Noh performer Noboru Yasuda, architect Tsuyoshi Tane, fashion designer He has collaborated with a number of artists across genres, including the Kronos Quartet, contemporary artist/pianist Tomoko Mukaiyama, Noh actor Noboru Yasuda, architect Tsuyoshi Tane, fashion designer Tamae Hirokawa, and composer world’s end girlfriend.
In 2019, he won the 13th Japan Dance Forum Award. 2020, he will be presenting XHIASMA project #003 In 2020, she will present an online/offline installation work as “site”. Certified as a Counter Technique Teacher. She has worked extensively both abroad and in Japan.
