Arrival of P wave [initial microtremor]. The buzzing of neurons. Sensing and avoidance study show.
Saori Harasaori has been creating works from a cognitive psychology perspective, which examines how humans read information from the environment and objects to determine their own behavior. This work, themed on perception and cognition, focuses on human social behavior under emergency conditions. The work will be performed as a new work that is a further development of the work-in-progress performance “Zekkei” that was staged at the same venue in November, 2020. The work will be performed as a new work.

Dancer, choreographer, artist, and director of Co.S
Based in several cities including Berlin, Tokyo, and Yokohama, she creates performances and choreographic works on the theme of space, body, and bodily belonging. She continues her movement research focusing on “the body moved by the environment” based on her background in design and ecopsychology, which she studied at university, and on her childhood experience of living with natural disasters unique to Japan. In 2021, he performed “Da Dad Dada” at Dance New Air, Japan’s largest international dance festival, to high acclaim.
In addition to the stage, she is involved in a wide variety of activities in the cultural scene, including music and fashion. Recent collaborations, appearances, and choreography include Nosei Otani, Mami Kakudo, Tomoyo Harada, Shuta Hasunuma, U-zhaan, NIKE, BLESS, Shiseido, shu uemura, and Cartier.
He holds a master’s degree in design from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and a master’s degree in solo performance in dance from the Berlin University of the Arts. 2013 Yoshino Gypsum Art Foundation overseas trainee, 2017 Pola Art Foundation overseas trainee, 2017 Pola Art Foundation overseas trainee, 2017 Pola Art Foundation overseas trainee.
She is a 2020-2021 Arts Commission Yokohama Artist Fellow and Dance Base Yokohama Residence Choreographer.
