島地保武の新作のダンサーオーディションを実施いたします。本作は、パフォーミングアーツ・セレクション2024の作品の一つとして、2024年11月末〜12月中旬に、愛知県芸術劇場などで上演予定です。奮ってご応募ください。

新しい創作に向けて
音楽と踊りの関係をいまいちど探り
新しいステップを考案し、ダンサーが動きそのものになるようなダンス作品を創作する。
我々の祖先は
樹木の上での生活から平地におりた。
4足から2足歩行に、脳の発達と共に前足は手と
進化し、我々は段々と「何々しながら」が可能になった。ではなぜ、危険な平地に降りたか。その理由のひとつは、
踊る為だったのではないか。
足を踏みながら腕を動かす。
楽器をつくり、演奏しながら歌う。
言い過ぎかもしれないが、
生活しながら踊るのが、種族保存の為になった。脳の発達に遊びが必要で、
その遊びが、まず、踊りだったのでは。
現代は、忙しくなり
「脳内ながら」が過ぎて、
意識の浮遊が上手くなり、
身体を忘れがちになって
重さを感じる時間が短くなり過ぎている気がする。
だから、いま
地面を感じて意識的に足を踏む。
全身の血流よくする
薬のようなステップを
改めて考案し、
バリエーションを作り音楽と共に
極シンプルに発表する。
テクノロジーの発展により、
身体から意識を抜かれ続けることに
少しブレーキをかけるような作品に
したいと考えています。

Houmu Shimachi
2006~15, belonged to The Forsythe Company. Formed the unit “Altnue” with Hana Sakai. Member of Shiseido’s 7th Tsubaki-kai. Performed with ROY TAN in the Aichi Arts Theatre production of “ARIKA” and has toured extensively. She performed in “Study # 3” choreographed by William Forsythe in the “Genealogy of Dance” project by Aichi Arts Theatre x DaBY, and directed and performed in “Ainote”, her second work with ROY Tamaki.
