After graduating from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, she joined a foreign advertising agency, where she was in charge of SNS advertising management. Interested in cross-cultural understanding and multicultural conviviality through dance, she left the company to pursue a career in dance. She went to Europe to pursue graduate studies, and while receiving a scholarship from the EU as an Erasmus student, became the first Japanese to complete the Choreomundus Master's Program, earning a master's degree in dance anthropology. After graduation, she worked as a researcher for the NPO What Dance Can Do, based in Norway and in several European countries, and returned to Japan in April 2024 to join DaBY, where she continues her work on dance and community building.
