◆Workshops

How well can memories of the past create a collective imagination? How much of the family past is really passed on? How much body does memory have?

This workshop will focus on key practices developed in research for the “Anatomy of a memory” performance. It is open to all who wish to explore personal memory and family history through the body and voice.

We will explore all aspects of memory, using improvisation, somatic practices, creative writing, and choreo repertoire as our primary tools.

The course will be offered specially and free of charge in conjunction with Naoyuki Sakai’s residency. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity!
