Shokai Nita / Trial performance of new work “processing and tuning
DaBY resident artist Shokai Nita will give a preview of his new work “processing and tuning” scheduled to be performed at SCOOL (Mitaka) in April 2024. A post-performance talk by the artist will be held after the performance.
This is a rare opportunity to see the creative process of the works. Please come and visit us.

She studied choreography and dance at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, Belgium. During her studies, she participated in performing arts festivals throughout Europe and performed in many choreographers’ works.
After graduation, he returned to Japan and has performed his choreography not only in theaters but also in museums, galleries, and art centers.
She creates dance works using classical, contemporary, and jazz music, and explores choreography that focuses on the relationship between music and the body.
As a dancer, she has been a member of Co. Yamada Un since 2019.
Representative of Autumn Productions, an organization that plans and produces performances of choreographed works.

Yosuke Meguro
Juggler and director, started juggling at the age of 14, and has performed at street performances, festivals, stages, and live houses since the age of 17. In 2008, he formed the juggling and music group “Nagamekuratsu,” and directs and organizes almost all of its performances.
Since 2013, she has also been active as a unit “Utsushiomi” with aerial artist Aimi Hasegawa.
External appearances include “Twelfth Night” and “Cabaret in the Air” directed by Kazumi Kushida, and “Fierce 5” directed by Raphael Boitel.
As a rare contemporary circus director in Japan, he has directed “100 Year Circus” and “naimono” for Setouchi Circus Factory, as well as performances related to “Goku: The Adventure Dawns” at Setagaya Public Theater.
Hiroki Yamamoto
Hiroki Yamamoto
Born in 1992, he formed the production group and publishing house Inu no Senakaza in 2015 and has been its leader since then. He produces novels, poetry, and performance works, designs, plans, and edits books and printed matter, and critiques art in general.
His main novels include “Unauthorized and Soil” (in “Anomalous Paper” and “Best SF 2022”); his criticism is “Nation and Death by Projector of Death” (in “Eureka,” September 2022); his designs include “Quick Japan” (159-167) and “Light and Private Talk” (Inu no Senakaza Sosho); his planning and editing are “Waseda Bungaku” 2021 Fall issue (special feature = Reality of Horror).
Several single-authored books summarizing his critical work are scheduled for publication this year.
