In addition to the workshop, there will be an Artistic Director Crosstalk: Toshiki Okada and Eri Karatsu (Artistic Director of Aichi Prefectural Arts Center) and an open studio!

◆Notice of Post Talk to be held
Eri Karatsu (Artistic Director of Aichi Arts Center / Artistic Director of Dance Base Yokohama) and the performers will hold a post-performance talk after the performances on 11/30 (Sat) and 12/1 (Sun).

Profile
Theater writer, novelist, and president of the theater company chelfitsch. He has garnered much attention in Japan and abroad for his unique methodology based on the relationship between words and the body, as well as for his critical look at contemporary society. Since its international debut in 2007 with “Five Days in March,” chelfitsch has performed in more than 90 cities around the world. He is a guest artist at DaBY.
She began classical ballet in 1979. After working with the Maki Asami Ballet Company, she moved to the New National Ballet Company in 1997 as a principal when it was established. Since then, she has performed numerous leading roles. She has received numerous awards, including the Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2017.
From 2006 to 2003, he was a member of The Forsythe Company. Formed the unit “Altneu” with Hana Sakai. He performed with ROY Tamaki in the Aichi Arts Theatre production of “Arika” and has toured extensively in Japan and abroad. She is a guest artist of DaBY.
Artistic Director of Aichi Arts Center / DaBY Artistic Director. After working on stage, he joined Aichi Arts Center in 1993 as Japan’s first dance curator. He has produced and invited more than 200 works and projects ranging from large-scale international co-productions to experimental performances. He received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Art Encouragement Prize in 2022 (the 73rd).
