An earthy cellist who performs in a variety of genres including rock, pop, jazz, classical, and improvised music.
One of the top string arrangers in the Japanese music scene in the 2010s.
In recent years, he has played and arranged strings for Bank Band, Mr. Children, ONE OK ROCK, and many other rock bands.
In October 2019, he released "Valley of the Taiyo", a challenge to Bach's unaccompanied cello suite.
He also specializes in original compositions and classical music with an improvisational style.
